The Magra River

La Bedina and the village of Groppodalosio are immersed in an atmosphere of peace and serenity. The rural activities, the flow of the river Magra, and the rustle of the wind through the green woodlands, sooth the house and its inhabitants and mark out the pleasant passing of time. What La Bedina offers first and foremost is peace and tranquillity. If you enjoy cooking while you’re on holiday you will find La Bedina has a well equipped kitchen with an electric oven, gas stove, electric kettle, and everything you need to do some baking such as a mixer, an electric whisk, baking pans etc. You will also find a barbeque if you fancy cooking some fish or meat outdoors on fresh summer evenings. If you like coffee you will have the choice of using the traditional Italian moka coffee pot or filters. In the living room you will find a stereo and CD collection, a TV, and a large comfortable sofa bed. You will find tables, reclining chairs, and parasols under the portico and on the terrace, where you can enjoy the view or read a good book beneath the shade of the hazelnut trees. The river Magra awaits you just a short distance below the house for a cooling swim or the challenge of a bit of fishing.
